My Wu Cinematic Work for Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Black Ops 3, and Black Ops 4. 

Shot Break Down:

  • 00:01 – Wall Break: Broke down and destroyed wall, simulated wall chunks, aligned and synced to characters animation for both shots.
  • 00:14 – Stormy Seas: Animated water, boat, flag, ropes, and rigging. Worked closely with FX artist animating bones to attach FX.
  • 00:40 – Stormy Seas Boat Sink: Animated water, debris, and boats. Worked closely with FX artist animating bones to attach FX. 
  • 00:55 – Cup of whiskey on the rocks: Rigged and animated glass of whiskey, ice, and picture for both shots. 
  • 01:07 – Zombie hunt: Animated ambient environment assets, tarps, ropes, and newspaper to help with the mood for each shot.
  • 01:37 – Shadow Man: Animated force push on environment props. Destroyed and simulated wooden railing. 
  • 01:53 – Shadow Man Railing: Destroyed and simulated wooden railing. 
  • 02:06 – Rumbling Rocks: Established shot and animated rumbling rocks. 
  • 02:08 – Farm House: Broke down and animated Farm house destruction. 
  • 02:09 – Church: Broke down and animated Church destruction. 
  • 02:11 – Earth Destruction: Broke down and animated Church destruction. 
  • 02:20 – Scarlett Scarf: Simulated cloth using existing character animation. 
  • 02:35 – Evil Robe: Simulated robe using existing character animation for both shots. Adjusted geo to help the lighting department to get the perfect lighting.

  • Simulated and setup reactive curtains as players enter and exit the window.  Bringing more realism to the battlefield

Opening Cinematic and Gameplay:

  • Animated cameras, foliage, vehicles, and destruction in the in game cinematics
  • Simulated tarps and cloth as VATs
  • 3:25 – Levolution destruction with 3 sections simulated and exported as Vertex Animated Textures (VAT)
    Smokestacks including the catwalk, Office, and Industrial corner.  Setup the final stage and collision to work with players and tanks during gameplay.  Setup collision on smokestacks so helicopters in game can get destroyed if caught under the smokestack.
GAMEPLAY:
  • Help setup pipeline and Blueprints to push destruction on the mobile platform
  • Created VFX for destruction using existing VFX and adjusting to help fit each destructions needs
  • Created and spearheaded VATs for use in our destruction to help with performance
  • Ambient cloth
  • Destruction of props and environments including windows (mix of VFX and VAT)
